Terms and Conditions

SANI Luxury Rental Terms and Conditions apply, but kindly note the following that applies to SANI Luxury:

  1. Card payment rentals are subject to a creditworthiness check. For a credit check prior to the collection please click here. Please allow a minimum period of 24 hours prior to collection for this check to be done. If the booking is within 24 hours, it will be done at the rental counter.
  2. A valid driver’s license is required. If you are presenting a valid temporary driver’s licence, the Smart ID Card or Green ID book must accompany the temporary driver’s licence. No copies are permitted.
  3. The card used for payment must be in the name of the primary driver.
  4. Two payment cards are required when collecting the vehicle, of which one needs to be a credit card.
  5. You are required to be older than 21 and in possession of an unendorsed driver’s license for a minimum of one year to rent a car in South Africa. If the driver is younger than 21, a driver surcharge will apply and the driver must have a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 2 years.
  6. Vehicles are not allowed to cross borders.
  7. Booking extensions need to be authorised by SANI Car Rental.
  8. Payment needs to be made within 24 hours of the booking being made, failing which the booking will be cancelled.
  9. Bookings cancelled 10 days before the pick-up date can be cancelled free of charge. Bookings cancelled between 10 days and up to 72 hours prior to pick-up will attract a 50% cancellation fee.
